I am weird. You probably know that already from all the blog posts that I’ve been posting. I already mentioned the fact that I am waiting until January to get started with a serious workout routine. But, today, I need to not weight any longer and get something starter. What Charmaine says, I must do.
The weird part comes with how I am going to do this. So, I have not done it yet, but will have by the time this gets posted up. I will do sixty to one-hundred push-ups by the end of the day. However, considering I am already sitting at Starbucks in Jersey City, I need to do it here instead of going to the gym.
When I worked at the pizza place, there would be times throughout the day I would go into the bathroom do a quick twenty push-ups or body-weight squats, and then go back about my day. It woke me up it kept me going. I obviously washing my hands after leaving the bathroom, but I got it done. I will probably have to do something similar today between here and work.
On a side note, I really enjoy doing push-ups. I do a good push-up with my body flat, and I make it close to the ground. I have a goal of someday doing one-hundred straight. I got this idea from a comic book character who did one-hundred pushups in the book. I understand he’s a fictional character, but it logical that I could be someone who does it. I think I want to set up this being one of my goals for 2018.
Back to don’t waiting any longer things. I did not go to the hospital after my accident. Over the past few days, the area between my nose and my lip has been itching like crazy. I woke up the other morning and shaved off my stubble. There was a nearly purple rash beneath it with other small red patches scattered across my face. Yesterday, I realized it was also giving off some liquid.
I recommend to everyone out there that you do not wait if you get in any sort of accident and get it checked out. I went in today to try to take care of it to City MD and found out without my insurance (which I just lost), it’ll cost me an exuberant amount of money. I’m trying cortisone cream on it for the next couple days, but if it doesn’t clean up by Friday, I have to get it thoroughly checked out. Don’t wait on things like this. Get it checked out and take your friends advice. It’ll be better in the long run.
If you want to change your life for the better, the little changes and not waiting will be what makes or breaks your life. It’ll help you out in the long run to take care of things immediately even if it’s small. That way you can be health, promote health, and live the superhero life.
