Technology plays a big part in my everyday life. I use it for drawing, music, and even writing these articles everyday. Heck, even the website I post everything on is an app on my phone. These apps make everything incredibly easy, and although the social media apps complicate things a little bit, even those too can be helpful in promoting myself. Today is about technology.
WordPress is probably the easiest app to start with. I use it daily to do the blog posts each day, but I actually tend to write them in the Word app from Microsoft. I have always been a big user of Microsoft Word and even when I used my MacBook more often, I still paid to get a copy of office. I just enjoy the application and want to continue to support.
Another app I use quite often is the Goggle Spreadsheet app. It connects directly to my google drive and allows me to keep up on my finances. If you’ve heard me talk about my budget, this is where my budget lives. It’s nice and handy and I always have it at my fingertips.
Spotify and I always stay close as well. I like to have music on the go, and pay for the premium membership monthly. It keeps me energized throughout my day.
For fitness, I use MapMyRun. As of late, I have used it more for walking, but it keeps me connected with the other runners and walkers in my life. I need to start using it more and get out and walk back and forth to Hoboken on a more regular basis. I also for a while used the LoseIt App to track calories.
Like many people, I used a plethora of social media apps. I have Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and a rarely used Tumblr. I post most on Facebook, but all these blog posts go up on Twitter daily. I need to post more on each of these and check out more wordpress blogs to actually build my community up a little bit.
The newest apps I use are adobe draw and adobe sketch. Both are drawing apps that use my ipencil to create digital art. I am still learning how to use them, but I like the idea of always having a pen and paper with me. (That goes for writing and my Bluetooth keyboard with my iPad as well).
Technology helps me throughout my day and makes everything right there at my fingertips. You can find all the apps above on the Apple Store on your Apple Device, and I’m sure you can find most of them (if not all of them) on your Android devices as well.
