Sixty Day Superheroes – Day Twenty-Five

I need a road map. I am definitely not one of those guys who will just assume the way. I am someone who will ask the person next to me where we are, where I need to go, and what I’m doing. If I have to stop and take a look at the map and turn around, I’m glad to do so. That’s why I think it’s important to always take a second to see where you are and plot your destination forward.

I did a little bit of that yesterday as I broke down the different parts of my life that may need a little bit of work. Today, I am just going to map the things a little bit further over the next few days.

Today is a simple day for me. I went to the gym. (21 more to go until New Orleans). I got my coffee and blueberry muffin. I am getting my writing done. I then will go and grab some food for later at Gypsy Grill. Finally, I will go to work. It’s a simple enough day. After work, I may do some writing, but most likely I am just going to watch some Doctor Who and game. I will deposit my money before I go home and decide then what I am going to do with it.

Tomorrow will be a bit more difficult. I have only a few things to do, but I need to get them all done relatively early. I need to do both my blog posts of 500 words each. (If you didn’t know, most of my blog posts are 500 words or more). I want to read more of the Picture of Dorian Grey. I want to go to the gym and do my body weight workout. I hope to get coffee and my blueberry muffin. Then, I am going to the Bronx. This will cost me a little bit of money to get up there on the train, but it’s to spend time with my friend. I think it’ll be great to go somewhere I haven’t been before. Getting out of your comfort zone from time to time is a good thing. My comfort zone is oddly Manhattan below Central Park and downtown Jersey City. The Bronx is definitely outside of that. Let’s make that comfortable too!

Saturday will be another complicated day, probably more complicated than Friday. I have to get up and go do cardio at the gym. It’s only 20 minutes, but getting up and making my way there is a bit hard. I need to get my two blog posts written, and then spend the rest of the day at work. It’s always pushing a lot into a very short early afternoon.

Sunday will be even worse. I’m generally more tired on Sunday mornings. I need to get up and go do my body weight workout. Then, I have to get my writing done, and make it to work again. The day is shorter, but it’s still getting there early and doing everything for the day. After that, I can just sleep away most of Monday morning and dealing with the next few days then.

It’s not too complicated this map forward, but it will take some commitment. I have recommitted after the last few days. So, it’s just about doing it from this point onward.
