100 Days Healthier Me – Day Ninety

I have a little over two weeks before I go to New Orleans. I wanted to be this pinnacle of me when I got there. I pictured this ripped abbed writer throwing money around for tattoos and booze and no cares in the world. That ain’t happening. However, I am definitely on my way towards my best me and that is more levels of awesome that I can explain.

So sixteen days left and only ten left on this. What does one do? Well, crank it up to eleven of course!

The pizza place called me again to pick up more shifts, and I easily said yes. I will always be down for helping them out where I can. This does one great thing and help me out financially for my trip. What else it does it put pizza directly in front of me and cuts into my time to do personal things.

Luckily, I got to bed early yesterday. I am up at 7am to make my way to the gym. I’m writing this on the way to the gym so I can use more of my time at Starbucks to write and edit. That’ll leave me behind on nothing. The upcoming days are going to be a bit more complicated. I took off yesterday to hang out with my friends. It was awesome but it left to an early night. I also knew I had something tonight so I’m preemptively doing all the things I need to do. I need to be ahead on things like this and constantly vigilante to keep up as the week moves on. I know I can do this.

These last few weeks are important for two reasons. It’s me setting myself up for a life after these prompts, and also setting me up for success leading up to my trip. Life after these prompts will definitely be interesting. It’s been two months doing the 100 Days, and so much has changed for me since I started it. I finished my book. I have begun to change my relationship with alcohol, and have consistently written and worked out. It’s amazing. I need to keep it up after and find things to talk about. The trip will inevitably be successful. I am in a city I love with people I love. But the easier it will be depends on the money I make beforehand. That’s the biggest thing I need to cultivate, and I’m on the right path.

The next two weeks are going to be long and interesting. It’ll be filled with a lot more of work at the bar, the brewery, and the pizza place. It’s going to be filled with awesome times with friends. And it’s going to be filled with writing both here, for my new blog, and editing my novel. It’s going to be a beautiful time to be alive, and even as I finish this, it shows me just how much more healthier living I have to look forward to.
